from venice with love…

Our mate Polina who runs Bikers Insider just sent us over these killer photos from a recent shoot in Venice, Italy. Imagine you were out there enjoying a double espresso and a ciggie by river then this mental 1947 Knucklehead came bobbing by. Madness and we love it!

“In the world of custom motorcycles, Venetia 1947 stands out as a singular creation where art meets engineering. Built by BCC Custom Cycles in Jesolo, Italy, this masterpiece is the vision of commissioner Fabio De Pellegrin, crafted by builder Lorenzo "Boccin" Solighetto, and adorned with Murano glass by artisan Damiano Carrer.

Led by internationally acclaimed Solighetto, BCC Custom Cycles is renowned for its bespoke motorcycles and American-style restorations. Their workshop doubles as a showroom celebrating the fusion of Italian and American motorcycle culture.

Venetia 1947 was conceived as an Old School Knucklehead that pushed the boundaries of customization. De Pellegrin, from Belluno—once under Venetian rule—wanted a bike that honored his heritage. This vision led to integrating Murano glass, a craft dating back to the 14th century, into the motorcycle's design.

Glass master Damiano Carrer, invited by longtime friend Solighetto, embraced the challenge of fusing delicate glass with rugged mechanics. Inspired by Venice, he created custom glass elements that combine strength with elegance, enhancing the bike's narrative and design.

The result is a breathtaking fusion of metal and glass—Venetia 1947 is not just a motorcycle, but a rideable work of art, celebrating Venice through tradition, innovation, and unmatched craftsmanship.”
