one motorcycle show vegas
There’s just 3 weeks until the One Motorcycle Show in Vegas and with no doubt it is going to be fabulous! We’ve been to a show or 2 the last 25 years so trust us when we say ONE MOTO VEGAS will not disappoint.
As if the 2 organisers, Tori and Thor were not busy enough already we thought it would be a good idea to do a little Q&A with them to let you know what to expect.
Hey Tori, thanks for taking the time. How are you getting on with all the set up? Everything under control?
Vegas is a BEAST, I think we all knew this going into it but working far in an entirely different state, different city permitting, different regulations that have been carefully crafted and tuned for massive tradeshows and expos and entertainment... We quickly realized we still belonged on the outskirts and fringe of it all. SO we set out and found the perfect Venue for The One Moto Show that would take us in and still let us be us. We feel like we're letting our 16 year kid out for a night and he's going to go buck wild and make some pretty stupid decisions. But who doesn't in Vegas.
Please explain to someone with no clue what The One Motorcycle show is all about and the history?
The One Motorcycle Show ain't just some dusty old bike night at the local dive bar. Well, it sort of is. It isn't a concours d'elegance where they judge ya on how shiny yer chrome is either. Nah, The One is a whole different breed.
Back in the day, a bunch of us – builders, riders, artists, ya know, the real young versions of us – we got together and said, "Screw the stuffy shows! Let's throw a party where the bikes tell the story."
And that's what The One is all about. It's a celebration of raw, honest, custom motorcycles. Bikes built with soul, with passion, with a whole lotta blood, sweat, and maybe a few beers. It's about the journey, the struggle, the triumphs, the failures. It's about the stories behind the steel.
We aren't always looking for perfection. We're looking for the unique. We're looking for the bikes that make ya stop, stare, and go, "Holy hell, what in the blue blazes is that?!" Anything that you or your dad, or mom or kids wanna look twice at.
The One Show wasn't built to be just a show, it was built as a movement. It's a reminder that motorcycles are more than just transportation. They're an expression of who we are, what we believe in. They're a way to push the boundaries, to break the rules, to tell the world, "This is my One ideal bike." Thor's manifesto probably says it best - "Funny thing about motorcycles, when you get ONE, you want two. When you get two you want ten. Then one day you have ten motorcycles. You start to think about how to combine all of them into ONE bike. Not literally combine all the parts into one, but take all the knowledge you have accumulated and build a machine that encompasses your vision of the ideal bike, The One Motorcycle."
Bring yer bikes, bring yer stories, and let's raise a glass to the knowledge of the motorcycle.
Where is the show happening in Vegas and when?
You gotta be at The One Motorcycle Show in Vegas. Wait, where IS Vegas?
If you can find it, we'll be at The Western in Downtown Las Vegas of Fremont street come Feburary 7th-8th, 2025. The Western was once the largest bingo hall and casino hall in the world, this gem is nestled on Fremont Street just a stone's throw away from the Strip. The One Moto Show is known for breathing new life into forgotten spaces and we couldn't have found a better suited venue for us to tear into. Think custom choppers, bobbers, cafe racers, and everything in between stuffed into the coolest little spot in Old Town. This ain't no stuffy museum, it's a celebration of the soul of motorcycling.
What should all the very lucky attendees expect to experience at the show?
Besides the 100+ shiny, dirty, pristine, weird, badass and outright fantastic builds on display... We'll have a full line up of live music by locals The Hardway, Canadian punk rockers The Vicious Cycles, Vegas shinners Viaje Nahual and Portland DJs The Spoiler Room. Thursday Night will be a VIP Preview party for invited guests, media, guests, dealers, OEMs and Industry folks to get a sneak peak of the show set up prior to doors opening.
Come Friday at 2pm, doors are open to the venue, inside and out. We'll have Food, Beer, Marketplace, a Three ring circus going down from Simpson Helmets that includes Trail riders jumping old cars and Fire stuntmen Progressive will be bringing in the live art and local world renowned builder and partner of the Vegas show Cristian Sosa will be passing out builder awards and Russ Brown is giving away a brand knew Kawi Super Moto!
This is just the tip of the old iceberg but we guarantee good times.
Is it true that in between organising 2 major events within 4 months Thor is also building a custom Indian Motorcycle for a laugh?
It's true. It's in our garage right now (in pieces still) , and between phone calls, meetings, picking up goldfish crackers off the floor he's been popping in and out of the garage everyday slamming away at it. I'm always really proud (and shocked) Thor manages to always throw his own builds into the mix each and every year.. usually starting it a month out from drop dead due date time. I'm really excited to see it come together and hope it's done in time to be revealed for the first time ever in VEGAS!
Big thanks and good luck Tori and Thor.
