5 quickfire questions for ATWYLD

Picture this, it’s a Friday afternoon, we’ve had a couple of shandies & up pings an email offering up a chit chat with the ATWYLD crew from our dear friends at Bell Helmets. Of course we say yes mate! The ladies are fantastic & what both parties have cooked up looks great!

We ring for the intern but realize we don’t have one so quickly compile some questions which hopefully make a bit of sense. Sadly they didn’t answer “What is your favourite issue of DicE” but no doubt it’s our latest Issue 97 which is available online and in store today *WINK

Alright ladies, thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us. For starters, for those who have no idea, what is ATWYLD?

Atwyld is a women’s motorcycle gear and apparel brand inspired by the void and built for the voyage. Founded by Anya Violet, Jaime Dempsey and Corinne Mayer; Atwyld was created to put a layer between you and the road that is both stylish and functional. Driven by a sense of freedom, independence and a bond to the road; Atwyld is not just a passenger on your journey but an integral part of your riding experience. From the mountains to the beach and the deserts to downtown Atwyld gives you the freedom to fly.

On the old socials it looks like you guys have a million fantastic things happening. What exciting projects do you guys got going on for the rest of the year?

We are super excited to be launching out new Off-Road riding pant. We, as founders are all passionate off-road riders, so this is a big one for us! We just launched a collab helmet with Bell too – the Atwyld Bullitt Orion and we’re working on a few more helmets that will be coming down the line soon.

These days everyone is collab-ing with everyone and sometimes it can seem a little soulless for example Tupac has a pro sock. What is important to you when putting your name to a product?

Function without compromising style. It’s not always easy but that is what makes it so fun to design. We want people to feel like the best version of themselves when they wear out clothes and have the confidence that they will perform.

When you’re not signing major deals, what do you do for a laugh?

We all like to walk our dogs, go camping, see live music, and travel the world. We are all very driven people and like to live life to the fullest.

Lastly and by no means most importantly, what do y'all ride?
